Action donghua: the most spectacular fights

Action is at the heart of most donghua. With the rise of Chinese 3D animation, fights have become true set pieces: cultivation techniques lighting up the sky, choreographed sword duels, battles between entire armies.

For urban action, The Outcast and Slay the Gods bring martial arts into today's China. For sheer scale, Swallowed Star, Shrouding the Heavens and Battle Through the Heavens deliver clash after clash on a cosmic level.
