Founded in 2015, Studio LAN (澜映画) is the studio that animated Link Click, one of the most acclaimed donghua of recent years.
History
Studio LAN was founded on 27 January 2015. It brings together two production companies, Shenzhen LAN and Guangzhou LAN, and first specialised in so-called mid-production: key drawings and sequence animation.
In 2021 it produced Link Click (时光代理人), directed by Li Haoling with support from Haoliners. The series became a phenomenon in China and abroad. A second season followed in 2023, then a third in 2026.
Signature
Studio LAN excels at character animation and staging emotion. In Link Click it alternates everyday scenes, suspense and tightly cut action sequences, with great visual consistency.
