Founded in 2014 in Hebei, Build Dream (铸梦动画) is the studio behind Renegade Immortal and The Sacred Ruins, two major 3D series for Tencent Video.
History
Hebei Zhumeng Culture Communication (河北铸梦文化传播有限公司) was founded on 4 September 2014. The studio started with web series, such as the comedy Meng Meng Da Alliance (萌萌哒联盟, 2015) and the adventure King of Tombs (墓王之王) from 2016.
It went on with Zi Chuan (紫川, 2021), based on Lao Zhu's novel, then with Sword Snow Stride (雪中悍刀行), adapted from Fenghuo Xi Zhuhou's novel.
In 2023 Build Dream launched Renegade Immortal (仙逆) for Tencent Video, adapted from Er Gen's novel, and extended it with yearly series and films. It then animated The Sacred Ruins (圣墟), based on Chen Dong.
Signature
Build Dream's 3D is darker and harsher than most of its competitors', which suits Er Gen's lonely heroes well. The studio puts a lot of care into atmosphere and backgrounds, and its series stretch over many seasons.
