On an Earth ravaged by a virus that spawned monsters and forced humanity into fortified cities, Luo Feng is a high-school student from a modest family who dreams of becoming a warrior. He discovers an extraordinary mental potential that will take him from Earth's wilderness to the edges of the universe.
Personality
Hard-working, discreet and deeply attached to his family, Luo Feng keeps his feet on the ground even when his power exceeds imagination. He is cautious, loyal to his mentors and ready to do anything to protect his loved ones and humanity.
Powers & abilities
His greatest asset is exceptional mental power, rare among Earth's warriors. He later obtains a second body, that of a gigantic Golden Horned Behemoth, and rises through a hierarchy that runs from Earth's warriors up to planetary, stellar and universe levels.
History
After passing the warrior exam, he joins the Limit Martial Hall and ventures into the wilderness to hunt monsters. His discoveries, including an alien inheritance, propel him toward space. There he faces civilisations far older than humanity and becomes one of the pillars of Earth's defence.
Relationships
His parents and his wheelchair-bound brother are his first motivation. Xu Xin, his high-school love, becomes his wife. Hong, founder of the Limit Martial Hall, is his great mentor on Earth.

Our take
Luo Feng is a simple, effective hero carried by a very readable progression. Watching a kid from a poor neighbourhood become a cosmic power remains an undiminished pleasure.
