The power levels of Perfect World
Perfect World has one of the longest ladders in xuanhuan. Shi Hao, a simple child from Stone Village, climbs it from Blood Shifting all the way to the immortal ranks, in a world still ruled by ancient gods and primeval creatures.
The first ranks
- 1Blood Shifting搬血bān xuè
The body grows stronger by circulating the blood of primeval beasts. It is the young Shi Hao's rank in Stone Village.
- 2Cave Heaven洞天dòng tiān
The cultivator opens inner "heavens" in their body. Shi Hao opens far more than normal.
- 3Spirit Transformation化灵huà líng
Energy turns into spirit, and the cultivator can begin to master symbols.
- 4Inscription铭纹míng wén
The cultivator engraves runes into their flesh and bones to draw powers from them.
- 5Formation列阵liè zhèn
The runes arrange into formations, multiplying their power.
- 6Venerable尊者zūn zhě
A venerable is respected throughout a territory and can found a lineage.
The divine ranks
- 7Divine Flame神火shén huǒ
The cultivator lights a divine flame within. This is the entry into the divine ranks.
- 8True Self真一zhēn yī
Spirit, body and divine flame become one.
- 9Saint Sacrifice圣祭shèng jì
The cultivator sacrifices part of themselves to heaven to be reborn stronger.
- 10Heavenly Deity天神tiān shén
A true god, whose power can crush entire clans.
The supreme ranks
- 11Void Dao虚道xū dào
The cultivator begins to perceive the great dao, beyond the material world.
- 12Self-Severing斩我zhǎn wǒ
They sever their former selves to free themselves from the past and its ties.
- 13One Escape遁一dùn yī
The second-to-last rank of the lower world, where one must escape the final limit of fate.
- 14Supreme至尊zhì zūn
The peak of the lower world. A Supreme can face beings from the higher worlds.
Beyond: the immortals
- 15True Immortal真仙zhēn xiān
The first immortal rank. Immortals live for entire eras.
- 16Immortal King仙王xiān wáng
Immortal kings are the greatest powers of their age, capable of destroying worlds.
- 17Immortal Emperor仙帝xiān dì
The peak of all ranks, reached by only a few beings in the world's whole history. The novel even describes a level beyond it, that of those who "sacrifice the dao".
How to advance
Shi Hao advances by fighting constantly and absorbing the bones and symbols of primeval creatures. The novel values body as much as spirit: some are born with a "supreme bone" holding innate powers, and the loss of his as a child is where his story begins.
In the donghua
The donghua, launched in 2021, follows Shi Hao through the first ranks of this long ladder, season after season.
