Regarded as Glory's greatest player, Ye Xiu won three titles with Excellent Era under the name One Autumn Leaf. Pushed out by his club, he starts over in an internet café.
Personality
Laid-back, teasing and a chain smoker, Ye Xiu seems to take nothing seriously. Behind that front he is passionate, clear-headed and generous with the players he takes under his wing.
Powers & abilities
His reflexes, encyclopaedic knowledge of the game and ability to read opponents make him a "textbook player". With Lord Grim, he combines the skills of every class thanks to the Myriad Manifestations Umbrella, a weapon he designed himself.
History
Having left his family young to play, Ye Xiu founded Excellent Era and turned it into a dynasty. Sidelined after a drop in results, he starts again on the tenth server, gathers players from all walks of life and founds Team Happy, with which he returns to the pro league.
Relationships
Su Mucheng, his longtime teammate, stays loyal to him. Chen Guo, owner of Happy Internet Café, becomes his employer and then the owner of his team. His league rivals, such as Han Wenqing and Huang Shaotian, respect him as much as they fear him.
Key moments
- The day he hands over the One Autumn Leaf account and leaves Excellent Era.
- His first steps with Lord Grim on the tenth server.
- Team Happy's comeback against the pro clubs.
In the adaptations
Voiced by A Jie in the donghua, he is played by Yang Yang in the 2019 drama. The film For the Glory shows his early days.

- Fans celebrate his birthday every 29 May.
Our take
Ye Xiu is a rare kind of hero: already at the top, he has nothing to prove, and he shines by passing on what he knows. His dry humour makes every scene a pleasure.
