Slay the Gods

Protagonist

As a child, Lin Qiye claims to have seen an angel in the sky and loses his sight; no one believes him and he is taken for a madman. Years later, he discovers that what he saw was real, and that he carries within him a power capable of defying the gods.

Calm, determined and loyal, Lin Qiye grew up under the weight of other people's judgement. He is protective of his family and comrades, and ready to do anything to defend those he loves.

A god's agent, he holds in his mind a strange asylum where gods are committed. By treating them, he gains access to their powers, making him one of the most unusual fighters in his world.

History

Recruited by the Night Watchers, the organisation that secretly protects the country against creatures and ancient gods, he learns to fight alongside the Cangnan team before facing ever larger threats.

Relationships

Zhao Kongcheng, captain of the Cangnan team, is his first mentor. His aunt and cousin, who raised him, are his family. His Night Watcher comrades become his brothers in arms.
