Lord of Mysteries — the original novel

Before becoming a donghua, Lord of Mysteries (诡秘之主) was a web novel by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving, published on the Qidian/Yuewen platforms. The story develops the Pathway and Sequence system, along with Klein Moretti's sprawling investigation, at much greater length.

In a rare move for the industry, the author directly took part in writing the animated adaptation, going as far as shaping the first season's final episodes.
